Michelle Rimmington

Michelle is a Gamilaroi woman living on Awabakal Country. She has worked as a Solicitor for Legal Aid in the areas of Prisoners Legal Service and Civil Legal Services for Aboriginal Communities and am currently working in the Crime Division at Newcastle Legal Aid.

Michelle became a Director of Ngalaya in 2022, and looks forward to continuing the growth of Ngalaya's network in Newcastle and the Central Coast region.

Michelle has a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Western Sydney, and a Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2019.

Michelle is a member of the of New South Wales Law Society, Newcastle Law Society, AbSec and Bahtabah Land Council.
